Chanel creative director Mr Lagerfield has offered a handbag to Adele as a way of apology for calling the singing superstar a little to fat.
Mr Lagerfield told his team to send the best handbag available at Chanel and to send it to Adele.
In his own words Mr Lagerfield stated that he really wanted to make up for the accidental comment he made about Adele by offering her a gorgeous designer Chanel handbag.
Mr Lagerfield was so annoyed with himself as he initially was finding the right words to compliment Adele but the total opposite came out.
