Elizabeth Taylor's Handbag Auction

When celebrities auction off their prized possesions they usually achieve a respectable price irrespective of the actual value of the item.

However a certain celebrity known to us as Elizabeth Taylor put one of her handbags under auction at Christie's in New York and it fetched a staggering £130,000.

Now for a handbag that has a value way below the winning bid shows how much a celeb can sway the price of certain items. In this case it was a certain handbag made by Hermes.

The handbags colour was a gorgeous red with a padlock design embedded to the front. The red handbag also had matching handles and was finished in a crocodile affect.

Would you bid as high as £130,000 for a handbag worn by a celeb?
