Costume Jewellery, Handbags & Clutch Bags Study

Our research team conducted a recent survey on three key terms that we consider all women love to purchase.

Those keywords are clutch bags, costume jewellery and handbags.

Results from the study showed that women are 4 times more likely to purchase costume jewellery then handbags and 7 times more likely to purchase jewellery then clutch bags.

Many participants also stated that they found it difficult to locate clutch bags on the high street and prefered to do shopping online with the added bonus to return items if they were not suitable.

The study also identified what are the most popular colours of clutch bags or handbags and white, black and silver were the most popular and this was followed by gold, pink and blue.

Purchase trends showed that most women prefer to purchase these items for special occasions such as weddings, proms and parties and considered jewellery and handbags to be one of their top 5 gift purchases for others.
